Straight men do make money on OnlyFans, and most of it comes from other men. No platform publishes the exact split. What you make stays your decision: the audience changes the marketing plan, not your limits.
What do straight creators report about earning?
Yes. Straight men run OnlyFans accounts that earn, and journalists have interviewed several of them at length. What almost every one of them reports is the same: most of the people paying are men. OnlyFans does not publish earnings by gender or by orientation, so nobody can tell you how straight creators' earnings compare with anyone else's, and a figure that claims to is a guess.

Who pays straight male creators?
Mostly men. That direction is well supported: a platform founder, creators interviewed by the press and every agency that writes about it say the same, and we found no source that says otherwise. How those men identify is a different question, and nobody has measured it.

A popular statistic says gay subscribers are a fixed, precise share of male creators' audiences. We traced it to a statistics aggregator that names no source for it, so we do not repeat it, and you should not rely on it either.
Do women pay male creators on OnlyFans?
Women use OnlyFans, and some of them pay male creators. In the two US panels above, women were 36.9% and 45.6% of users, and women were 49.7% of the people who watched gay male content on one large free site in 2026. None of that measures what women spend on men, though. Watching free content and paying for a subscription are different acts.
The few straight creators who have talked about it publicly describe marketing only to women as the slower route, with smaller audiences. Some build for both and let the paying fans show them which audience they have. If women are the audience you want, plan for slower growth and do not assume the market that exists for female creators exists in the same size for you.
What does a mostly male audience mean for you?
It changes the marketing, and nothing else unless you want it to. You decide what you make: suggestive only, solo, with a partner, faceless or not. Many men subscribe to straight creators precisely because they are straight, and plenty of those fans want exactly the content a straight creator is comfortable making.
Two rules keep this workable:
- Say who you are and what you make. Fans who subscribe expecting something you will never make feel misled, and a profile that is clear about your limits attracts the fans who are happy inside them.
- Decide your limits before the first conversation, not during it. Messages are where fans ask for more, and a limit you set in advance is easier to keep than one you invent under pressure.
Nothing about the audience obliges you to perform an identity that is not yours, and nothing obliges you to go further than you want. If an agency tells you to, find another agency.
How do straight creators handle messages from men?
Treat the chat as part of the job, with limits you set once: which topics are fine, what you sell and what you never offer. The conversation is where fans buy paid messages and tip, so how you handle it matters as much as any post.
Some creators answer every message themselves. Others hand the chat to a team that writes in their voice. OnlyFans allows this: its terms say someone else may help run a creator's account, while the creator stays legally responsible, and fans acknowledge that third parties may take part in running accounts and in chats. If you use a team, you still decide what it may say and sell, and you can read every conversation.
Is OnlyFans a good idea for a straight guy?
It can be, if three things are true: you are comfortable that most of your paying fans will be men, you have decided what you will and will not make, and you can give the account time every day. If the first one is a problem, no plan fixes it, and it is better to know that before you start than after.
